About
The Mriya aircraft, officially known as the Antonov An-225 Mriya, is a one-of-a-kind cargo aircraft that holds the record for being the largest and heaviest airplane ever built. "Mriya" means "dream" or "inspiration" in Ukrainian, aptly reflecting the ambitious vision behind its creation.
When Russia started the full-scale invasion on Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the Russian troops have seized control of Hostomel Air Base, where the AN-225 “Mriya” was located and destroyed it when retreating from the Kyiv region.
Mriya Fund works with preserving the memory of the famous Ukrainian Mriya aircraft, destroyed by Russia and raises international funds to support Ukraine against the Russian aggression.

Advocacy and Awareness
Our NGO engages in advocacy efforts to raise awareness about the destruction of the Mriya aircraft by Russia and the broader issues surrounding Russian aggression in Ukraine. This involve lobbying governments, organizing campaigns, and leveraging media and social media platforms to amplify their message.
The Mriya Fund also get engaged in legal advocacy efforts, seeking justice for the destruction of the Mriya aircraft through international courts or by pressing for sanctions against individuals or entities responsible for the attack.
Overall, the Mriya Fund appears to be engaged in a multifaceted approach aimed at preserving the memory of the Mriya aircraft while actively supporting Ukraine's resilience against Russian aggression on both symbolic and practical levels.
